The register is reporting as of yesterday that there are yet more potent applications doing the rounds on the bit torrent sites and masquerading as Anti Virus programs.

An trojan has been discovered in a copy of the Adobe Photoshop CS 4 serial number generator tool. OSX.Trojan.iServices.B comes in through torrent sites and participates the unwilling victims machine in a botnet.

Fake anti Virus for Mac OSx is also in the ascendency, a problem that has plagued PC owners for a few years now is becoming more of an issue for mac owners as well.

The net is slightly more dangerous for mac owners in the New year of 2009, make sure you stay updated with OS X updates and look out for any odd behaviour.
